LP®Smartside®

Diamond Kote products are exclusively built on: LP®SmartSide®, an engineered wood siding treated with a SmartGaurd process. It withstands:

  • extreme temperatures

  • high humidity

  • freeze/thaws

  • fungal decay 

  • termites.

Using Nature's Enduring Elements

Diamon Kote pre-finish process includes a propietary paint which uses the purest metal oxide colorants extracted from rocks. These natural raw pigments don’t fade over time and pigments keep your siding vibrant while protecting it from destructive Ultraviolet sun rays that cause synthetic tints to fade quickly. 

 

Superior Technology

The pre-finish process begins by sanding and cleaning the substrate to ensure proper adhesion of the finish for a long term performance. Robotic sprayers provide consistency for flawless coverage. Before packaging, the product is sent through the oven to create a durable scratch resistant exterior siding product.

ECO-Responsible

We believe in quality products that are sustainable and ecologically friendly, just like Diamond Kote. The paints are water borne resulting in low V.O.C emissions and shipping is powered by compressed natural gas engines, reducing greenhouse gas emissions up to 20%.

 

The entire LP® SmartSide® Trim & Siding manufacturing process is also earth-friendly. In accordance with Sustainable Forestry Initiative® standards

  • Use small, fast-growing trees for less waste and better resource usage.

  • Use the entire log

  • No urea-formaldehyde

  • Low-emitting safe resins

  • Zinc-borate that is used, is a naturally-occurring material.

Factory-applied Diamond Kote® finish has a 30-Year No Fade Limited Warranty which includes 15 years of labor coverage with the first seven years at 100% value.
